This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting a tablet and a speaker to have our students search and create apps to play through a 15" speaker while completing a STEM project.
Students feel more at ease when listening to music while working and collaborating together.
Since the speakers are portable, we can take it with us while doing community service projects in and out of school. When we do hands-on STEM projects, we can also keep music in the background to keep our creative juices flowing. It will also help to use music as a timer and keep students on-task and engaged.
