My Project

John Dewey once wisely stated, "If we teach today as we taught yesterday, we rob our children of tomorrow." As educators, we have the opportunity to provide our students with the necessary tools and experiences for their future success. To ensure they reach their full potential, updating our technology is crucial. Despite being given school computers, many students encounter issues such as laptops running out of charge, malfunctioning, or not being readily available. Additionally, the outdated school building only offers two electrical outlets per room, making it difficult for students to charge their devices when needed. Having a dedicated backup computer exclusively for classroom use would be highly beneficial to maintain student engagement in our daily interactive activities. Moreover, the single shared classroom laptop faces glitches and a cracked LCD screen, hindering testing as only half of the screen is visible. The restricted access to certain areas of the visible screen and the inability to project the display are also problematic. Unfortunately, the laptop lacks battery power and must be constantly connected to a power source. Introducing a new laptop focused on studying the Human Impact on Earth would greatly enhance our educational efforts.
