Help me give my students this great educational experiences of learning more about the needs of living things, responsibility, and compassion. We need an incubator, cages, eggs, and feed in order to accomplish this goal.

My Project

My firsties are an excited group of learners. We have spent an entire literacy unit learning about birds and their physical characteristics. We also have spent full science unit on the needs of living things. Being able to hatch chickens in our classroom will tie all of their hard work together.

We will also use these new friends of ours to learn about responsibility and compassion for living things.

Aside from studying this process from a scientific perspective, these new friends we be an inspiration for writing activities. We also have plans for the chicks to help with Social and Emotional Learning with showing compassion and responsibility. We can't wait to have this egg-cellent experience!
