Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come to school each day ready to learn and excited to be here. They come from many diverse backgrounds and challenges and come to school for stability and routines. Most of them come without pencils, books and materials needed.
I teach at a Title I school where the majority of my class and the school get free lunches.
Despite all of the issues standing in their way, most children are eager to learn and want to be here.
My Project
As we all go through these challenging times, it is important to remember that our students are going to need us more than ever. They have directly been impacted and need us to help them in more ways than ever.
These gift cards will allow me to get materials and resources that will help my students.
I want to make sure they have all the resources they need to succeed. TPT has many materials that will differentiate and provide very rich academic needs for all of my students. I cannot wait to get back to the classroom!!!
