Help me give my students a safe charging port for our classroom computers because right now, the cords are everywhere, and I am constantly concerned about them spilling water on them and dropping them.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Technology provides students with access to resources that motivate creativity. Sharing digital devices promotes inclusion, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. Supervised computer time can aid in the development of digital literacy skills. The digital world extends learning beyond the text and classroom walls. Materials and supplies are hard to come by in the first place!
To be able to secure the classroom computers and charge them simultaneously would be AMAZING!
Currently, I am trying to use a metal file organizer. They are falling out and on the counter near the sink! The cords are everywhere and the computers are not secure. I am hoping this freestanding cart will solve this problem and will keep computers charged, safe, and easily accessible to students.
