This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will have a significant impact on my classroom by providing me with a printer that’s readily available for all of our daily needs. In our inner-city district, access to printing resources is limited, and the few available options often come with challenges.
We are unable to send print jobs to faculty copiers without disrupting other teachers printing, which can create frustration for everyone.
Additionally, only a small number of classrooms have personal printers, and these are often shared by multiple educators. After the Microsoft crash this past summer, our district struggled to restore our technology and printing systems. Having a printer in my classroom would eliminate these issues, making printing tasks more efficient and convenient. It would ensure that I can print necessary materials without delay, allowing me to better support my students and streamline the day-to-day operations of the classroom.
