This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The main thing for students that is needed are white boards since they are using them daily and they can get beat up pretty easily. Students love working with the white boards because they think it is fun writing with a marker while we are on the carpet. I have also included some snacks because the students always seem to be so hungry. I do work in a low income neighborhood which means a lot of parents can not provide these things for their children.

It would be great to be able to get some of these things donated.

This is currently my first year teaching and a lot of the times in my classroom currently came from me purchasing things for the students. MY students are special becasue they have come such a long way from the beginning of the year to now and they honestly deserve everything!
