My Students

These fourth graders are amazing and deserve to have every opportunity to grow and learn. One hundred percent of the students in our school receive free breakfast and lunch through a federal grant. Even with the challenges my students face, they continue to push themselves and have high aspirations.

My students are amazing, inquisitive, active, and enthusiastic learners!

As their teacher, I want to help them keep reaching for their goals. In the classroom, I work to find different ways to help them focus on their learning and meet their various needs.

All of my students thrive on choice and active involvement. They each have their own interests and want to pursue them. They love to participate in class and help others. I want to make my classroom a place in which they all have the opportunity to succeed in their own way.

My Project

I want my students to get as much experience with technology as possible. My students have Chromebooks, but some online applications require them to manipulate objects that cannot be done as well on a track pad. The USB optical mice will allow my students to have a new tool to use with their Chromebooks.

My students will be better able to use technology by having the tools they need.

Many of my students are more comfortable using a mouse when trying to control how things move on their computer screens. Some of the online programs my students use would be of greater benefit for them if they were able to use a mouse.
