Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a self-contained primary autism class with 8 kids from ages 5-7 years old. These kids enjoy playing with toys, play-dough and slime. They are amazing and wonderful kids that needs to be expose with others kids. With the pandemic changing the school system from virtual class to face to face. It affects their social skills and how they interact with one another. I believe all of these kids need to be more expose to other kids and also to their classmate. I always tell them to play with your classmate. I believe if I have toys and educational supplies that they love, they can have more fun in my classroom and at the same time interacting with classmates. I need help with these. I know social skills is very important for kids with autism. I know you can help me with that. I also know that these kids will be very excited to have toys that that they can play with and at the same time learn from it. With your help, I know I can.

My Project

The materials I'm asking are all educational use that I am planning to use inside my classroom. My students will enjoy playing and learning by using these toys. They can use this one individually and some toys can be played and used by two or three of them. I can also use this materials to focus on teaching my students about numbers, letters, colors and others. This will also help them improve their fine motor skills, eye and hand coordination and eye contact.

Students will learn a lot using these materials and enjoy at the same time.

With your help, they can enjoy being in school, exposed more to others kids and learn more. The will be learning new things, fun things and explore other texture and materials. I bet my kids will enjoy playing with all their toys.
