Educational Supplies for Exceptional Students

Help me give my students a sensory tent, games, and puzzles, all aimed at creating enjoyable and engaging activities for exceptional student education at Gulfport Montessori Elementary School.

My Project

I want to express my gratitude for your ongoing support in our efforts to enhance our students' learning experiences. I am the Speech Language Pathologist at our school. I service all children with language and/or speech goals on their individual Education Plan (IEP).

I am reaching out to request some classroom supplies that will greatly assist my exceptional education students in developing their expressive and receptive language skills, as well as improving speech articulation.

Specifically, I need a barn to help students produce animal sounds, answer "wh" questions, and follow directions. Additionally, a tent would be beneficial for my students with autism and other learning disabilities, providing them a space to regulate their bodies.

Puzzles are also motivating tools that can help young children make choices and promote engagement. Furthermore, the game Candy Land is excellent for students who require repetition in practicing of their speech sounds and following directions.

These activities and games cater to the diverse goals of my students. Students can earn stamps, and upon collecting ten, they can choose a toy from the treasure box. Having toys for the treasure box will serve as a great motivator.
