Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My fourth graders are energetic, smart, and eager to learn. They are from many different countries and many are learning English. However, that is not stopping them from learning. The majority of my students come from low-income families. Their parents do their best to provide for them, but it's not enough.

My fourth-grade students believe in themselves and want to make a difference in the world.

I teach in a low-income, Title I school. As teachers, we often spend a lot of our own money to make sure our kids have all the supplies they need to learn. I want my students to have everything they deserve so that they will have a successful school year.

My Project

Our schools are remaining closed due to COVID-19. Our students will begin the school year with distance learning. This is going to be very hard for students that need differentiated instruction. Through Teachers Pay Teachers, I can access fun and engaging teacher-created lessons and standards-aligned activities that I can use with my students through distance learning. With these gift cards, I will be able to use the content from TPT to promote interactive activities for my students.

I want to keep my students engaged by using remote learning activities from Teachers Pay Teachers that will make my virtual lessons more fun and educational.

These resources will help my students learn in new creative ways. For example, I can download digital math resources my students can use to learn about place value and solving word problems. Having access to these online learning resources from Teachers Pay Teachers will help me meet all my students’ needs.
