Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a Title I school with a lot of English learners. We also were impacted by COVID last year and could use these educational games to help students learn while still having fun. We allow the student to eat breakfast and play games first thing in the morning before teaching starts. This helps students make friends and learn to work together. My 2nd graders are still learning the meaning of teamwork and the importance of being able to lose without getting upset. They are so excited to hear that we might be getting board games.
