My Students

My students are eager learners just waiting for the right tools to help them succeed. It will be a whole new type of schooling when we return to the classroom, the new normal. My students will be nervous and apprehensive. I teach at a Title I school which means that more than 40% of the students are a part of a low-income household. This means many of my students will not have their own supplies to bring to school. This is a dynamic that impacts student learning and what makes my job of providing a positive learning environment for children more important.

My Project

With all the restrictions this year on how to safely return our students physically in the build. I want to be prepared with as many supplies as possible. Supplies will be available for children to use in the classroom. Students will store their personal supplies in their "At Your Seat Chair Storage" to make sanitation easier while in the classroom. Providing my students with disposable masks and kid friendly hand sanitizer helps promote a safe learning environment.

Having more supplies will make this process easier and safer for the students and myself.
