My Project
The materials listed focus a lot on social emotional learning. In my first year of teaching, we had a ton of varying emotions and this year, I’d like to be better equipped on how to help my students regulate and manage some emotions on their own.
My students are a joy but they’ve all experienced some really difficult things at such a young age that result in them exhibiting behaviors that can be challenging.
Teaching them how to manage that is essential to the learning environment. When students are feeling ill in any way, the learning stops. My goal is to start teaching things that will help them with these feelings.
I also included the teacher essential, a laminator, with kindergarten. Anytime I want them to reuse something, it absolutely needs to be laminated!
