My Students
My students are a variety of young and exceptional scholars, who come from a variety of backgrounds. Often competing with many peers in neighboring districts that have far more than they do, the deck always seems to be slightly stacked against them. These children are young and hungry to learn, and if they are going to succeed it needs to be a community effort.
These children have a learned to make the most of what little they have, and I feel it is my responsibility to pay it forward for everything they have ever done for me.
My Project
My students come from a variety of backgrounds, and they often compete in an environment where many of their peers have access to rich and immersive technology that they could only dream of. Students today are living in a digitally rich and immersive world, where possibility meets opportunity and lead towards innovation.
This project will allow my students the opportunity to display their work, share their projects, and shift learning into an interest-centered environment allowing all students to find challenges which inspire their learning and engagement.
I want to help inspire my students and excite their learning through a digitally rich classroom, where play-based learning is the emphasis on exciting their STEM education. These play-based learning kits, technology items, and tech supplies are designed with the intention to make learning fun and break down the walls of traditional educational norms. If my students are to grow as leaders and innovators, they need to foster that creativity and nurture it throughout their life.
