My Project

DCES is a diverse community of students and families that have a long tradition of commitment to education. Dry Creek is a part of the Twin Rivers Unified School District which is the 24th largest district in California. COVID-19 money has run out and our specific school site has steadily grown each year with size. Originally we served K-4th graders but during the pandemic, we grew to a TK-6th grade campus. Many items we use daily need to be replaced and with your help, they can and will be. Our students are eager to learn, motivated, and all very capable but we are in need of various supplies.

By donating to my project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given proper nutrition and have the proper sanitary products on hand. The art supplies, ChromeBook headphones, and printer ink will play many roles in our daily program for my 1st-grade students.

As a 1st-grade teacher, each child's early classroom experiences are crucial for lifelong academic success. With even the smallest increment of help, you are making a difference in each of their academic journeys. For 17 years I’ve tried to make every one of my classrooms warm welcoming and colorful. Every student needs to feel safe in their home away from home in order to reach their highest potential. Help me, help them by giving them choice and comfort.
