This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
EdTech for Equity: Enhancing IEP Development Using iPads is a technology-driven initiative aimed at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of Individualized Education Program (IEP) development for students with special needs.
This project leverages iPads as versatile tools to support case research, data collection, collaboration, and personalized planning.
By equipping special education teachers and support staff with iPads, my students will have an efficient and quality education. This project will enhance real-time access to my students' records, their assessment data, and more educational resources for them. Also streamlining the IEP process for them. It also facilitates greater collaboration among educators, therapists, and families, ensuring that plans are both data-informed and student-centered.
The initiative promotes educational equity by ensuring that all students, regardless of their abilities, receive timely, well-structured support tailored to their unique learning needs. Ultimately, this project seeks to improve outcomes for students with special needs by integrating technology into daily practice, fostering more inclusive, responsive, and effective educational planning.
