Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This will be our 4th annual Special Olympics event for the Tarrant County/Dallas county schools. This year we are hosting the event at Edgecliff. Here at Edgecliff we do everything EXTRA! EXTRA EXTRA Edgecliff!!!! We want to provide students with disabilities to participate in sports, fostering a sense of inclusion, boosting their self esteem, and promoting a more accepting society by giving them a platform to showcase their abilities and overcome challenges through athletic competition.
