Knowledge is power. You can't begin a career, for that matter even a relationship, unless you know everything there is to know about it.

We are a suburban elementary school in the Midwest with students in grades Kindergarten through 5th.
Every student is an energetic asset to our school community. Most students crave interactive, hands-on learning. We are creating a science lab in one of our mobile classrooms to provide these opportunities to all classes.
My Project
Our science curriculum has changed this year with a focus on more hands-on, project-based learning opportunities with in-class experiments. Kindergarten through second grade focuses on life cycles. The EcoSTEM PolliNation Kit with a Pollinator Learning Garden is a great opportunity to explore the butterfly life cycle. The EcoSTEM Water Kit that help students investigate water quality is a great experiment that will tie in with our fifth grade field trip to our local water plant.
Anytime we put hands-on activities in the classroom, we empower students to think critically.
This critical thinking will lead to knowledge. Knowledge is POWER! I want all of our students to have their superpower!
