Economics at Our Fingertips!

My students need 2 iPods to enhance an economics center in the classroom so they can learn about their roles as consumers and producers.

My Students

Little learners need to learn in a fun, hands-on environment. They need appropriate materials to engage them while learning. iPods will give them learning at their fingertips!

My students are first graders, curious of the world around them and hungry for knowledge.

What better way to teach them about consumers and producers than through the use of technology. Using technology to understand the financial and economic resources of their communities and how they play a integral roles in economics, my students can learn to appreciate and accept their future roles as valuable members of the community through hands-on learning with iPods.

My Project

I am asking for iPods with protective cases for my classroom. My students will be able to use these materials to gain access to information and apps about finance and economics. I want the students to use these apps to learn the relationship between consumers and providers and make self-to-world connections as they realize their roles as future consumers and providers.

Donations toward this project will impact my high-poverty students greatly.

Many do not have the means to use technology in their homes. The iPods will enhance our technology center in my classroom and will give them economics at their fingertips!
