This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My wonderful sixth graders have become experts in scientific research and investigation. To finish the year strong, they're going to present their final projects in a science fair! Our upcoming unit is about ecology, with a special emphasis on the ways humans have impacted the environment. Some groups have chosen to study their favorite ecosystems, and present their research to the school community. Others have chosen to test the effects of different variables on how well plants grow. We have most of the materials we need to conduct the research and investigations, such as laptops, seeds, and grow lights.

What we still need are a few items help us grow the plants, as well as the materials to present our findings.

After all, you can't have a science fair without the posters! Our students have worked so hard all year to get to this point. Please help them conduct and present successful and rewarding science fair projects. Thank you!
