My Project
I teach AP Environmental Science at a Title I public high school, and my students are some of the most curious and hardworking young people you’ll meet. They want to learn how the environment works, not just memorize facts. But we don’t have enough supplies to do the hands-on experiments that make science come alive.
One of their favorite projects is building ecocolumns—tiny ecosystems they create themselves.
To really dig into water quality, they need 10 LaMotte Low-Cost Water Monitoring Kits to test things like pH, nitrates, and turbidity.
With these kits, my students will become real eco-detectives, investigating how pollution affects ecosystems and learning skills they’ll use beyond the classroom. Your support means they get to do science, think critically, and maybe even be inspired to protect our planet someday.
Thank you for helping make science exciting and accessible for kids who deserve it!
