Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My seventh grade English Language Arts students are experiencing the greatest change in their lives. As the standards continue to push the expectations, it is our responsibility to continue to drive those expectations into practice and learning. Some may believe that seventh grade minds are set for success.
No doubt about that, but the middle school years are the shifting years for the child that is growing and reshaping their mind.
Together we can create that shift by providing them with new and innovative tools to make learning exciting!
My Project
Students will have the opportunity to expand on research during their project-based learning stations. They will have the echo in a blended learning station, where students are allowed to select what they wish to learn about (student-driven) and ask questions immediately to clarify misconceptions.
In the blended learning model, students will continue to engage in projects that make connections across curriculum.
These resources will help them expand and apply learning to collaborative assignments, independent assignments, across the curriculum, and more. Students are excited to possibly have these resources at their fingertips to engage in in-depth learning and opportunities to collaborate with their peers.
