This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our bilingual students will begin school next month and we’re so excited to plan for another amazing school year! One thing we would love to add to our classroom is an Amazon Echo to use for our music and movement, and circle time. The Echo can be programmed with our schedule and can play sounds to help us transition throughout the day. It can also tell us if the weather is nice enough for outdoor recess, or what a certain animal sounds like.
We plan to have the Echo be a part of our classroom, and the battery base will help us move it around the room since we have limited outlets in our room.
The Echo will also show students how to use technology to gather information about our study topics throughout the year. We hope you can support our project for a classroom Echo and base for our preschool classroom.
