Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having classroom materials organized and easily accessible is important in any classroom, but in a classroom where students have special needs, it is very important. Students need to be aware of where things belong to teach the responsibility of putting things back where they belong, or where they can find various materials.
Organization and accessibility teach responsibility.
Having containers and folders for specific, daily used classroom items helps students be prepared for the daily tasks and keeps them in routine. Students in my class thrive on routine and structure. Folders and containers that are durable make our classroom materials last longer.
