My Project
This year I am working towards helping my young kindergarten students become as independent as they can be in the classroom. They are learning how to take care of their own classroom supplies, learning materials, headphones and Chromebooks. I have cubbies for their markers, watercolor paints, whiteboard markers and other supplies. The children have done a great job this year taking care of their supplies. They are learning to be responsible by getting their supplies when needed, cleaning up and putting their things away. Our classroom is lacking sufficient storage for their different student books. They children sit at age appropriate tables to do their work. Since they are at the tables, they do not have individual storage for their student books. It would be amazing to have the over the chair pocket storage pouches for each student. Each child could simply go to to his/her chair and find the appropriate student book in the storage pouch.
