This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project serves two important purposes. First and foremost, it's all about giving my students an Easter celebration they'll never forget. Many of my students come from families with limited income, but they're the sweetest kids you'll ever meet. They show up to school every day with big smiles on their faces, eager to learn and always looking out for each other. They love creating things to brighten someone else's day, so I want to treat them to a special Easter celebration as a way of saying thank you for being such awesome students.
The second purpose of this project is to make sure my students have enough snacks to keep them going throughout the day.
Our lunchtime is super early, so by the end of the day, some of my students are feeling pretty hungry. I do my best to provide snacks when I can, but I could definitely use some help to make sure they have enough to eat every day. No child should have to go hungry, and with a little support, we can make sure that never happens in our classroom. Thank you in advance for you help and generosity!
