This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is located in Harlem and has over 450 students that range from 3rd grade-8th grade. As their music teacher, I would love to provide them a quality music education, but do not have funds to purchase any musical instruments, such as a their own set of drum sticks! My goal is to create a strong music program for our students of East Harlem to equip them with the knowledge and skills to further their musical talents. Thank you for considering our students in East Harlem!

My Project

Our students in Harlem have such incredible music talent! As a new music teacher in Harlem, I want to share my knowledge and passion for music, but we require several instruments and supplies to help build our music program. Some of these items include drumsticks that way we can use them while the students are performing for our community. I know that with their talent, we will achieve our goal! With your help, we will be able to expand our music program and learn so much more. Thank you once again for considering our students in East Harlem. Our students are very grateful for your love and support!
