Help me give my students the organizational and sensory items needed to progress throughout the year!

My Students
After teaching special needs students for the last 7 years, I have come to realize they have huge hearts and never stay angry. They get upset and are not able to share what they feel but patience and a huge set of ears usually will help them focus on something calming. A huge part of their disability is sensory and repetitive speaking. I’m hoping to help supply sensory devices to the classroom as well as teaching routines and organization skills to ease their school year!
My Project
The items I have chosen will help my students gain organization skills and ease the transition back to the school building. Upon entering the classroom, I will have each student unpack and drop their books and folders in completed work bins. Our morning meeting takes place on the floors, the seat cushions will give the students comfort as they listen to the days plan as well as on their chairs assisting those who easily distract . With COVID still existing, our students will be coming to school distracted by masks and health concerns. They will be in fear and not easily calmed. Their routines have been disrupted for over a year and I am hoping to help them gain independence and know they can control their feelings of frustration. As an educator, I want to assist the children and welcome them to a new school year, in the building, as easily as I can.
