Easels Help to Make Learning Easy!

Help me give my students this brand new easel to help them access the new curriculum and lessons!

My Students

My students are an inspiration every day! They are excited, motivated, fun, energetic, loving and impressionable. They come from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and neighborhoods and work together like a family. I am amazed every year by how different each child is and how willing they are to accept one another and support each other, especially when someone is facing a challenge. Being in a public school, in an inner city, the students differ in their needs, abilities and confidence. Since many students benefit from reteaching and being able to refer back to previous skills, this easel is indispensable.

I want to be able to teach all learners and reach each student at their level, in their own time.

The kids love to learn, but they all may not retain information at the same time and may need to see specific lessons and information again to help retain it.

Adding this new easel to the to the classroom will help provide students with that opportunity. The easel can help each student continue to learn, make growth both academically and socially, at their own independent levels, leaving no child behind.

My Project

Our school has adopted a new phonics and social-emotional curriculum. With the new content being taught and needed to be retained and referred to in the future daily lessons, an easel is imperative to ensuring this happens. Without an easel, the only place to record the daily lessons, ideas, and expectations is on the whiteboard, which will be erased for the next lesson. The students then will not be able to reflect back on or review previous lessons in the future. The students will greatly benefit from the ability to look back on previous skills and use them to help connect with new lessons and learn the most from each lesson. Please help our class get the most out of each lesson and grow more each day!
