Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am teaching in a Title I school where majority of the students are from low-income families. We have 85% English Language Learners. Our school is known as a community school where most of our parents rely on the teachers and staff to help them, their child, and their family.

I have 18 unique and talented students who are eager to discover new things every day.

My 18 students go to school each day with smiles on their faces knowing that their day will be full of learning, caring, and fun.

My Project

I have a small easel board from Ikea. Every time we will do our lessons, I need to take away or erase whatever I wrote so that I would have enough space for our next lesson/topic. Even if sometimes, whatever I wrote or post up on my board will still be used for our next activity. When we do our letter sorts and phonics, it's hard to do it since my easel board is so small. Having the pictures or books helps a lot of my students when we are talking about our lessons and when they are doing their writing activity.
