My Students

I teach Science to 6th grade scholars in Charlotte, North Carolina. My students represent many cultures, incomes, and abilities. My goal as their teacher is to do my part to ensure each scholar has equal access to the opportunities necessary for success.

My students are bright, inquisitive, and eager to expand their understanding of the world around them.

I have many future doctors, engineers, and scientists in my classroom and I want to give them the opportunity to explore and grow their love of Science!

My Project

The students in my class room will be learning about the Earth, the Solar System, Soil and so many other amazing things in Science this school year. They long for the opportunity to conduct experiments and participate in labs in order to have a tangible application of the knowledge gained from notes they've taken.

Having materials to create interactive learning opportunities for my scholars will give them a deeper understanding and appreciation for Science.

These materials will also be beneficial in allowing scholars the ability to practice using the Scientific Method and further prepare themselves for a future in STEM!
