This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me create a more calming and nature-like environment with this beautiful community rug. The rich earth tones are a great alternative to traditional bold colors which can be distracting to some children.

Our daily rituals, including morning gatherings, read alouds, dance parties, and a myriad of learning activities, are centered around this rug.

This rug, featuring individual squares for each student, not only encourages free movement but also fosters a culture of mutual respect for personal space. It's clear that this rug will greatly enhance the educational experience and well-being of my students. Your assistance in bringing this vision to life is sincerely appreciated!
