We all remember as kids, there was always one adult in our lives who was concerned about saving the earth. That person taught us about the three R's; reduce, reuse, and recycle. I would like to be that person.
My class is designed as a place for struggling learners to feel safe.
I have 16 wonderful second graders, who are struggling in one or more subject area. While they are all struggling it is not for lack of effort. I see them all give everything they have, every day. Please help me foster a love that they are showing.
My Project
What were you interested in when you were seven? My kids have recently become very interested in science, ALL areas of science. I would like to harness that interest into a goal. As Earth Day is approaching I would like to have the kids engage in a science day in my classroom. We are going to do crafts, read stories, do experiments, and discover the wonderful world that we live in. Not only will we discover why this world is so wonderful, but we will also discover, why we need to recycle, and preserve it.
Please help me by donating to my science day.
I am a firm believer that if kids are interested in something they will learn it quicker. Right now, my kids are interested in science. Please help me foster that love for science into a purpose that will benefit all people on the planet.
