My Project

I thank past supporters of my innovative literacy/art-centric classroom. Condon scholars learn by reading, reflecting, engaging in art creation, and forge ahead with action.

For our spring project that honors Earth day, I've requested art supplies for poster-making, seeds, seed cups for planting, and a bevy of books to promote a love of reading, and the promotion of new ways to think about our fragile planet Earth.

As a child in the 1970s, I still remember the very first Earth Day and the posters I made to honor the environment. I want to inspire a new generation of urban school children to be thoughtful, environmentally-aware stewards of planet Earth.
