Earth Day Dedicated Planting for Mother Earth

Help me give my students the resources necessary to grow their own plants and create an appreciation for nature in preparation of Earth Day!

My Project

All of our students want to work with something hands-on and engaging. Our class only has access to a few activities where they can directly interact with nature. In class, there are windows and some hydroponic setups but they are aging and require additional resources. Allowing students to grow their own plants will be an engaging and relevant topic for students to get engaged with Earth Day. First and foremost, this will give students a tangible activity to work with their hands and produce something physical for them to take home. Back in photosynthesis they tried to grow plants but with minimal success.

The new seeds and hydroponic supplies will greatly increase the success rate of students' growing projects to reach higher rates of achievement.

This first and foremost is to give students a feeling of success and to help germinate their plants in time for Earth Day and to allow them to use the aging hydroponic setup that has greatly increased germination rates but have not been used since supplies have been lacking.
