This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is aimed at teaching my students about Earth Day. They are in first grade which means this is the perfect time to teach them about the importance of the planet and how important it is to take care of it. These materials will help bring the activities that I am planning to life and allow my students to have a learning environment that is interactive, sustainable and creative. These materials will benefit all the students in my classroom by enriching their learning environment with supplies that will let their imagination soar while learning about the planet, sustainability and recycling.
