This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Earth Club is excited to start a garden at our school, and we need your help! We are currently seeking donations for a raised garden bed to create a sustainable, hands-on learning environment for our students. This garden bed is essential to the success of the garden, which will serve as an educational space where students can learn about the importance of gardening, environmental stewardship, and healthy eating.

By having access to this garden, students will gain practical experience in growing their own food, which will foster teamwork, cooperation, and a sense of responsibility.

The project will also encourage outdoor physical activity and provide valuable opportunities for volunteering, allowing students to engage with their community while developing important life skills.

In addition to these learning benefits, the garden will contribute to making our school more eco-friendly and sustainable. Our Earth Club believes that creating this space will inspire students to take an active role in caring for the environment, and we are excited about the positive impact it will have on our school community.
