My Project
My students will be able to use the models to better understand the concepts that they missed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many building blocks of science are hard to understand and these models will help fill the gaps! By having a model of a volcano, we will be able to explore tectonics of Arizona considering we are full of dormant volcanoes! I want to provide a way to connect my students to their surroundings and models are the best way to do this! I would also love to have the tectonic sandbox to show faulting and earthquakes and use the mock seismograph to record the movements.
