My Project

Help my brilliant group of 4th and 5th graders lock into individualized learning with the help of a class set of headphones. We are still working very hard to combat learning loss due to the Covid 19 pandemic. The very best way to do this is to combine targeted class wide instruction with well planned small group instruction and we'll top it all off with individualized instruction. This year students will be using programs that meet them where they are and adjusts as they grow.

Having a class set of headphones will allow each student to tune in to their personalized lessons, without disrupting their neighbors.

Students will also be able to apply their newly acquired knowledge creatively, as we work to summarize learning through story telling with coding. My shining stars will use audio features to give voice to their storyboards, and will edit the auditory components with the use of their own pair of headphones. Our classroom is a modern learning space where students are working at their own level, across multiple forms of media to create products that will prepare them for the challenges of middle and high school.
