This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love Disney and Pixar movies, and picture books like "Pete the Cat." We often watch films and listen to stories in our sessions to work on answering questions, identifying story grammar elements, sequencing, and describing. However, there is often background noise from other sessions when we do these activities, which distracts my students. Providing my students with quality headphones to use during our sessions will increase their attention and focus during digital activities. This technology will allow them to better focus during these activities so they can continue to build their expressive and receptive language skills.
