My Project

I teach third grade in Idaho. My students work hard each day to learn. I love to be able to reward them with prizes. However, I want them to earn it.

I have a class store in my classroom.

Students earn "class bucks" throughout the week by finishing their assignments on time, working well with others, following directions, and so on. I love to reinforce positive reinforcement. And this is a perfect way to do it! When they are doing those amazing things, I can hand out "class bucks".

At the end of every two weeks, I open up the class store and students get to use their "class bucks" and purchase an extra fun snack or a toy. This has been a huge success in the past and I'm excited to continue it this year!
