Early Reader Graphic Novels In The Library

Help me give my students graphic novels that my beginning readers can read for fun!

My Project

Graphic novels are a huge hit in our school library. They literally fly off the shelves every week. Graphic novels are fun and engaging, and my students enjoy reading them. Research shows that there are many benefits of reading graphic novels, including developing verbal and visual literacy, and increasing comprehension.

The early reader graphic novels that I am requesting are from the I Can Read Comics collection.

My youngest students who are ready to read independently need early reader graphic novels available that will help build their confidence and prepare them for a successful transition to the graphic novel genre of reading. The I Can Read Comics collection introduces young readers to graphic novels and encourages visual literacy for beginner readers.

My youngest readers deserve early reader graphic novels that they can independently read and enjoy. It is my goal to provide these books for my young readers so they can continue to use the library as a source to grow as lifelong readers!
