My Project
Our transitional kindergarten (TK) classroom is filled with energetic, curious 4- and 5-year-olds who learn best through sound, rhythm, and repetition. With your support, we hope to expand our existing music and audio center by adding a collection of read-along books with CDs. These engaging resources will bring stories to life and help our students grow as early readers and listeners.
Read-along books are a powerful tool for developing language and literacy—especially for our English learners.
As children follow along with the words being read aloud, they build vocabulary, comprehension, and early phonics skills in a fun and accessible way. Hearing fluent reading while seeing the printed words supports both language acquisition and reading confidence, helping all students feel more successful and included.
By integrating music, rhythm, and now storytelling into one audio center, we’re creating a space that supports cognitive growth, imagination, emotional connection, and language development for all learners. Your donation helps us bring joyful, hands-on learning experiences to our TK classroom—and for that, we are truly thankful!
