Early Literacy Skills

Help me give my students a solid foundation in letter identification and literacy skills.

My Project

Early explicit instruction in core literacy skills (phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension) combined with multisensory supports, are key to helping children with language-based learning disabilities.

The students will learn vocabulary and basic reading skills with these board books.

Board books with thick pages are easier to turn for young students who are still developing fine motor skills.

Letter identification is an important first step in early literacy. The letter tubs are a great way to have hands on learning for each letter of the alphabet.
