Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As an inclusion kindergarten teacher, I am constantly looking for materials to help students develop and grow throughout the school year. This has been challenging with the school's limited funding for supplies.
We are a classroom of 20 friendly and curious learners from various ethnic backgrounds facing challenges, including poverty and developmental delays.
My students are future scholars, teachers, doctors, and accomplished human beings. I need the public's help to raise money for literacy materials to boost my classroom's literacy reading and writing skills.
My Project
I am requesting materials to add to my literacy area. I have borrowed materials throughout the last three years and have yet to add to my own collection. I need materials to enhance student learning.
Kindergartners need concrete materials and repetition to help them learn the alphabet, letter formation and recognition.
I would like to add magnetic letters to make my lessons hands-on. From practicing fine motor skills through letter tracing on a magic board, to reinforcing letter recognition to master each letter in the alphabet on a letter pocket chart, all of the materials listed below are sure to add some fun!
