Early Learning Materials for Special Needs Students

Help me give my students hands on materials to learn early reading skills and early math skills. The magnetic learning upper case letters, lower case letters, and numbers will really benefit my students.

My Students

I have the most amazing and wonderful Kindergartners. My students come from very low income families. Many of my students live in government housing and the only meals they have are the free breakfast and lunch they receive at school. My students come to school in dirty clothes, clothes that don't fit, or what they wore the day before.

My students come to school every day excited to learn reading and math.

They are like sponges and I want to provide them with all the tools they will need to be successful.

My Project

I have a class with special needs students. Special needs students learn best with hands on materials. The materials I am asking for are all things that can be used over and over again every year.

The magnetic learning rods, alphabet and numbers with help the students with early reading and math skills, fine motor skills, as well as allow the students to use the materials throughout the year.

The alphabet finger tracing with give the students a tactile way of making their capital and lowercase letters. The magnetic puzzles with let the students work on fine motor skills and also their alphabet, colors, and numbers. The busy board will help the kids with their fine motor skills and the musical instruments will help with their gross motor skills.
