This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our transitional kindergartners are an eager group that arrives each day with a smile on their faces and a willingness to explore and learn with their peers.

One area all students are excited about is our garden, and I have worked hard to secure planting boxes to share my love of gardening with our students.

This project will provide the Burpee Premium Organic Potting Mix for students to raise milkweed for our butterfly unit and flowers year-round. We aim to incorporate the hands-on science lessons with language arts, math, and art all year.
