Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our PreK, Head Start, and Kindergarten classes would love more hands-on materials to build with in STEM class. Our youngest learners come to STEM once a week. They learn how to build things with items many of my students don't have access to at home. My goal is to fine-tune some of their skills that weren't developed during the pandemic.
STEM encourages students to use their imagination to build.
Our youngest learners are just starting out and need simple toys to help them develop skills that will last a lifetime. From building words or structures, our scholars deserve a chance to start off on the right foot.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
