Early Childhood Science & Math

My students need Heidi Songs to help them learn with the help of visuals and movement. Also, magnets will be a great science-sensory exploration center. The paint brushes will be a fun addition to art!

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have 20 wonderful students. The range in age from 3 to 5 years-old. My students represent a wide range of backgrounds. The school district is made up of 52% Hispanic, 35% African American, and 22% Caucasian. A few of my students are learning English, with Spanish being their primary language. They are very eager to learn and they deserve the best of the best!

My students are little sponges.

They are soaking in everything they learn. They are very excited to learn and grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Since they are very young, they need hands-on experiences to aid in their learning. They love to learn through play. Play is vital to the learning process for early childhood.

These students would greatly benefit from your donation. We are in great need of tools to assist their learning. Thank your for taking the time to read.

My Project

I have inculdued several things I believe will help my pre-k kids to discover science and math in a meaningful way. The heidi dvds and magnets are some wonderful tools that they will benfit from daily.

I have included a wonderful selection of DVD's called Heidi Songs.

They are repetitive songs that you project on the smartboard. They repetition, movement, and visuals will help my kids to have fun learning. They will get fun tunes that spell out the colors they are learning embed into their memory.

I have included some fun paint brushes for the art and coloring center for the children to explore science through mixing fun colors and coloring magnet creations. The magnets will be a fun sensory/science tool the children will have a blast exploring. With your help my kids will get to learn about north and south poles of magnets in a fun meaningful way that will make sense to them.
